Why I love shooting videos with my Pocket 6K Rig
I prefer to shoot hand-held with a heavier camera rig. The weight helps remove the micro-jitters. I like the organic look of the footage shot this way
Dedicated buttons for ISO and white balance and buttons to toggle LUT, false colours, focus assist on screen
The large and bright screen and the easy to access intuitive camera interface.
EF lens mount is very versatile and there is a huge number of options in the used market
Blackmagic colour science: I love the colours that come out of Pocket 6k. Skin tones look natural, highlights and shadow details are well-preserved
This also gives me a lot flexibility to grade the colour in post
Ability to record video directly to SSD. I can attach the same SSD to my computer to start editing
I love the whole workflow: shooting in BRAW, quickly assembling the timeline with Speed Editor, Resolve's powerful grading tools and the ability to do all this without any lag on my MacBook Air

With its advanced features and impressive image quality, the Pocket 6K has become the preferred choice for many professional videographers
Impressive Dynamic Range and Low-Light Performance
With 13 stops of dynamic range, Pocket 6K G2 captures footage that looks natural and true to life. This opens up new possibilities for shooting in challenging lighting situations.
Superb Screen and User-Friendly Menu System
The 5" high-resolution touch screen is great for shooting and previewing footage. The well-laid out menu system makes it easy to navigate and adjust settings. The bright 1500 nits screen is easy to see in bright sunlight allowing for a seamless shooting experience.
Internal 12-bit RAW or ProRes 422 Recording
12-bit RAW format provides maximum flexibility in post-production, allowing you to adjust and fine-tune your footage to perfection. On the other hand, ProRes 422 offers a high-quality compressed format that is ideal for efficient editing workflows
